Guiding Principles of the GIS Library

The mission of the GIS library is to foster curiosity and instill a love of reading and learning by providing a welcoming, inclusive, and resource-rich environment for students and staff.  We aim to support academic success, inspire creativity, and develop lifelong learners through collaboration, literacy development,  and critical thinking.

Circulation Information

The loan period for library materials is two weeks.  Students may bring in their materials to renew.  Click here to browse our online catalog.  In May, items will be due approximately two weeks before the last day of the year.  The specific due date will be communicated in the spring.

Lost Materials

GEVSD does not charge late fees;  however, if your child has lost library materials, the items need to be replaced or paid for.  Please see Mrs. Mackley  for specific information.
